See our travel guide to Manila
Manila is the largest city in the Philippines and the capital of Southeast Asia. It is a lively city, a buzz of culture, food stalls and friendly local Filipinos. The chaotic city has an eclectic mix of buildings ranging from Spanish colonial styles to ultra-modern skyscrapers. During your stay in Manila, you should not miss the walled city of Intramuros, which stands for the Spanish City, Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ermita, Manila Ocean Park, Malate District, National Museum Complex and Rizal Park, the largest urban park in Asia.
